A Pioneer Valley native, I have been pouring my passion for digital & print marketing, art direction, graphic design, typography, and photography into my work for over 18 years. I first learned the ropes of the design world in the art department at the Daily Hampshire Gazette newspaper. I learned valuable skills and hands-on experience with prepress and four color process printing. Building upon the skills I learned working on print media, I worked in Hartford at a marketing agency that catered to the horticultural industry. I worked with many garden centers and florists across the United States on marketing campaigns. From entire store signage solutions, advertising, logo and brand development and website design, we did it all! The print side of my work included work with two in-house presses as well as wide format sign printers. Currently I enjoy a position as the Brand & Marketing Manager at Pioneer Valley Books. This literacy company has made it their mission to help young students enjoy learning to read. I wear many hats, and on a daily basis I can be found doing one, some, or all of the following: analyzing market data, planning and strategizing cohesive digital & print campaigns, writing brand guides and SOPs, designing marketing catalogs and sample kits, social media content graphics, book series designs, package designs, in-house photography, email newsletters, UI website design, iPad app design, planning trade show booth displays, delegation to a team of project managers and designers, managing freelance designers, and overseeing the archival projects.
